Chapter Two: The First Noku and the Merge

Yuki stared at Yachizuru like she was crazy. "You're a…what?" she asked her not sure what she just heard her say. She smiled "I am a spirit hunter. I come from the spirit world in order to destroy evil spirits called Noku's. That's why I am here. "She said to her. Yuki backed away more "You…your crazy…You can't be from the spirit world…there is no such thing…" she said when the image of Yachizuru crossing the river flashed in her mind. "Wait…was that you crossing the river earlier!" she said and she nodded holding her hand up a ball of ice appearing and spinning "My family's specialty is ice powers" she said to her happily as the ball disappeared. Yuki could not believe it. "Why tell me…?" she asked.

She smiled sweetly "because I fell in love with you the minute I saw you Yuki-chan. I want you to be the human partner I make my contract with" she said. Yuki's heart skipped a beat. "Yo...You love me…but you don't even know me…" she said to her. She just smiled more "that's all right. I will learn more about you." she said and Yuki fell silent as she looked at her not able to find what to say.

Suddenly the smile on Yachi's face vanished as she jumped forward pushing Yuki to the ground "Yuki-chan watch out!" she yelled as the light post Yuki had been next to suddenly bent in and broke off sparks flying from it. Yuki looked at Yachi who was looking down the street. Yuki looked as well but saw nothing. Yachi looked as though she was focusing on something she could not see. Yachi got up pulling Yuki "we have to go. Now!" she said pulling her in the direction of the school. Yuki looked back again seeing a blurry figure just before they vanished around a corner. Yachi got to the bridge of the river and picked up Yuki and jumped out over the water, ice appearing at her feet as she landed when something slammed against the water tossing the two to the other side of the river.

Yuki's vision was a bit blurred from being tossed like that. She looked at Yachi "h..hey get up" she said shaking her. She looked across the river. She could see the blurry figure on the other side of the river. It moved some before launching into the air soaring across the gap easily. Yuki gasped and she picked up Yachi as she came to "Oh man…my head.." she said. "Yachizuru-san. We need to move" she said and she snapped to looking at the blur before grabbing Yuki and running once more. The figure followed again. They ran all the way to the school bobbing around corners to lose the figure. Yachi pulled Yuki into an empty classroom and sighed "we lost It for now…" she said as she sighed a little. Yuki caught her breath and looked at Yachi "what the hell was that just now? It was like…invisible I could only see a blur…" she said and Yachi looked outside a window "It was a Noku. One of the evil spirits I am here to get rid of." she said. "Then get rid of it!" Yuki said "I can't…not like this…I need a contract with a human.." she explained and Yuki looked at her confused "why? It's your job to destroy them but you can't!? Because you don't have some signed piece of paper!?" she said angrily.

Yachi sighed again "No Yuki-chan. A contract is a special bond made between a human and Spirit Hunter allowing the Hunter to use their powers…there is no paper to sign" she said to her before looking out the window once more. The Noku was standing at the gate now. She closed her eyes and thought for a moment. "Yuki-chan..I will go and fight it. Stay here and make a run for it when you get the chance" she said heading for the door. Yuki watched her for a bit before it clicked in her head. She could not defeat this creature and she knew it. Yuki reached out before she left and grabbed her hand. "No! Y..you can't…not for my sake…." she said to her. She did not know why but she did not want Yachi to go. Yachi blinked but smiled "I will be all right Yuki-chan" she said and she shook her head "Your lieing…you know you can't win…what…if I do the contract with you? Can you stop it?" she asked her and she nodded smiling. "A..all right I will do it…then…what do I need to do?" she asked and Yachi stood in front of her "Just close your eyes" she said and Yuki did so.

Yachi's heart started to pound with excitement as she leaned closer to Yuki puckering her lips. Soon she kissed Yuki and held it for a second. Yuki blushed bright red as she felt it freaking out when she could not pull away. Yachi's body began to glow brighter and brighter before she vanished and her clothes fell into a pile on the floor. "Contract complete." Yachi giggled happily as Yuki opened her eyes "was that just a trick to….kiss...me..." she said looking around seeing she was gone. Yuki felt really odd. Heavier for some reason, "where did you go?" she asked and Yachi giggled "I am in you. We have merged…look at yourself." she said and Yuki looked down and almost screamed from shock. Her body was completely different. She was taller, her breast now a D cup, her hips were wider now. She looked completely different

"What happened to me...." she asked and Yachi giggled more "Were now merged. You're able to use my powers by me channeling them through you." she told her. "This is how spirit hunters fight alongside humans." she explained as Yuki walked out of the class and into the hall amazed by the whole thing. "So this is how we fight…?" she said when she felt something in the hall with her as she turned quickly. At the end of the hall was a woman in a kimono. The kimono was torn up a lot and her face was covered by her long black hair. She also had what seemed like a large lizard tail. Yuki froze "wha...What is she…" she said. "It…is a Noku…the one that chased us all the way here…" Yachi said the Noku swinging its tail side to side slowly as they stared at each other from across the hall…
